Dimraeth Races, Classes, and NPCs
Confirmed identities only. The 1.0 roster is still rolling out in Early Access.
This hub is the roster map for Dimraeth: playable races, playable classes, and the NPCs who turn Earlwood into a place instead of a waypoint. Steam Early Access is dated 15 September 2026. Nothing here assumes a finished 1.0 ship, and nothing here invents the unnamed half of the 1.0 grid.
Start with races if you care about the body you will inhabit — axe, sword/crossbow, staff, or the still-thin Elf file named as an Early Access race on 2 September 2026. Start with classes if you care about the loop — Brawler stamina and grapples, Magician fire/ice/lightning on weapon strikes, or Shadow, the third named class with no published kit yet. Start with NPCs if you care who stands in the Guild Hall when you come home to Faustas’s stronghold.
What is confirmed
Mudtek’s 1.0 target is eight races × six classes = 48 archetypes, each with a unique skill tree and a unique archetype passive. Confirmed identities today:
- Races: Minotaur, Human, Elf, Fairy.
- Classes: Brawler, Magician, Shadow.
That is twelve named pairings on paper, and only some of those pairings have published combat kits. Minotaur Brawler is Vanguard. Fairy remains a staff caster even as Brawler. Human swaps sword and crossbow. Elf is marketed as a master of magic without a published weapon yet. The rest of the 1.0 roster rolls out during Early Access. This hub will not fill empty chairs with guessed names.
If you want those pairs graded for beginners, use the tier list hub. If you want a first-session plan, use starter builds. If you want the third-tree rule, use archetypes. Creation order is character creation then the archetype planner.
How race and class sit on one body
Race is the base kit. A Minotaur from the Boulder Fel Barons is a 7–10 foot, axe-first frontliner with earth charge and quake, raised on a Spartan-like mix of soldier discipline and berserker violence. A Human is the most populous people in Mirkea and the adaptable weapon-swapper. A Fairy fights with a staff even when the class says Brawler, and Strength is expensive. An Elf is the marketing magic specialist until Mudtek shows more.
Class is the second loop. Brawler is close combat, grapples, light armor, relentless stamina. Magician blends elemental fire, ice, and lightning with weapon strikes. Shadow is the third named class from the 2 September 2026 post; this wiki will not invent a stealth bar for it. Pairing any of those with a race opens a third tree. That is why a Minotaur Magician is not “Vanguard with spells” and a Fairy Brawler is not “a tiny Minotaur.”
The people around the roster
You do not walk Mirkea alone even in solo. Faustas, the venerable wizard, recruits you after a broken ritual grants a power you do not understand. Sylbos, Last of the Ogre Magi, is the antagonist reaching for Dimraeth itself. Between those two poles sit the Earlwood faces: Alaric Audet, Befr, Manga, Eldorian, Tamsin, and Myrll. Their pages are on NPCs. Recruiting, conversations, personal quests, and possible romances are part of the published loop; shops and crafting services expand when you invest in allies’ facilities at the stronghold.
Co-op is 1–8 drop-in. Your hero’s race, class, spells, and gear travel with you. Recruited allies and buildings stay tied to a world. That is why this hub separates your roster (races and classes) from the world’s roster (NPCs).
How to use this hub before 15 September 2026
Pick a confirmed race on races, a confirmed class on classes, and read one NPC you expect to meet on NPCs. Then stop. Do not wait for the other four races or the other three classes to be named. Early Access is the rollout, not a finished grid. Come back to this hub when Mudtek publishes the next identity — and only then add a chair.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Dimraeth players.
Which races and classes are confirmed right now?
Races: Minotaur, Human, Elf, Fairy. Classes: Brawler, Magician, Shadow. Eight races and six classes is the 1.0 target, not the day-one list. Unnamed identities are not listed on this wiki.
Do NPCs join my stronghold?
The published loop has you recruit allies, deepen conversations, and invest materials in their facilities so shops and crafting grow. Details live on NPCs and the stronghold guide.
Is the Elf kit fully published?
No. Elf is a confirmed race and is marketed as a master of magic. A weapon identity and archetype passive have not been shown the way Minotaur's axe and Vanguard have. See races.
Where do I read about Sylbos and Faustas?
Both sit on the NPCs page. Faustas recruits you; Sylbos, Last of the Ogre Magi, is the antagonist. Neither is a playable race or class.
How should a co-op group split the roster?
Use documented kits. A Minotaur Brawler plus a Human Magician covers stun and elemental stacks without overlapping unpublished pairs. Grade those choices on the tier list hub.
