Dimraeth Confirmed Archetype Tiers
S/A/B for documented pairs only. Pre-launch snapshot, not a live ladder.
Dimraeth reaches Steam Early Access on 15 September 2026. This hub ranks confirmed archetypes for beginners. It draws on Mudtek’s published kits, playtests, and the demo that closed on 15 July 2026. It is not a live meta, and it will be wrong the day unnamed races and classes ship.
If you need a session plan rather than a letter, open starter builds. If you need the rules that make a pair unique, open archetypes. Weapon identity lives on races; stamina versus elemental loops live on classes. Lock the pair in character creation and check XP costs in the archetype planner.
What S, A, and B mean here
Letters on this page measure two things: how completely Mudtek has documented the pair, and how kindly that pair treats a new player in Souls-lite combat. An S pair has a published weapon kit, a published class loop, and at least one published synergy — a named archetype, a passive, or a stun conversion. A B pair is real in the documented sense, but it fights its own attribute costs or asks you to ignore a racial weapon.
Unnamed 1.0 pairs do not get a letter. The 1.0 target is eight races times six classes, which is forty-eight archetypes, each with a unique skill tree and a unique archetype passive. Early Access is where that roster rolls out. Until a pair shows a weapon, a tree, and a passive, it stays off the table.
Confirmed letters (pre-launch)
S — Minotaur Brawler (Vanguard). This is the only pair with a named archetype and a published attribute hook: bonus stamina whenever you level Strength. Minotaurs stand 7–10 feet, come from the Boulder Fel Barons, and keep an axe frontline even if you later lean ranged. Earth magic, charge, and quake sit on the racial kit. A documented Brawler keystone can convert basic attacks to Blunt, which fills hidden stun build-up fastest. For a first character who has to learn dodge, poise, and Final Attack on the third hit, this is the honest start.
A — Human Magician. Humans are the most populous people in Mirkea and the most adaptable documented race: they swap sword and crossbow mid-fight. Magician layers fire, ice, and lightning onto weapon strikes. You still slot only five spells, and Concentration in combat returns when basic attacks land, so the Magician loop is hit, spend, hit again — not a turret rotation. This pair teaches Burning and Chill without fighting the racial weapon.
A — Minotaur Magician. You remain an axe frontliner. Magician adds elemental weapon blends, and Minotaur spell options include strength-scaling magic, so the race does not suddenly become a backline staff. The tradeoff is resource split: Vanguard’s stamina-on-Strength hook is a Brawler feature, not a Magician one. Expect to think harder about when you spend stamina versus Concentration.
B — Human Brawler. Close combat, grapples, light armor, and stamina on a race whose published fantasy is weapon swapping. It works. You simply give up Magician’s elemental toolkit, and you do not inherit Vanguard’s stamina-on-Strength.
B — Fairy Magician and Fairy Brawler. A Fairy is a staff-wielding caster even as a Brawler. Strength is expensive on this race — Mudtek’s own example is that a Fairy Magician pays far more XP to raise Strength than a Minotaur Brawler. Magician matches the staff identity; Brawler is the awkward, interesting hybrid. Both sit at B because off-stat XP will shrink your total attributes at cap.
Unranked — Elf plus any class, and any race plus Shadow. Marketing asks whether you will master magic as an elf. The 2 September 2026 post named Elf as an Early Access race and Shadow as a new class. That is not a weapon kit, a passive, or a tree. Those cells stay unranked until those exist.
How to use this before launch
Do not wait for a 48-row table. Pick S or A, read the matching plan on starter builds, and take that plan into the Lost Caverns through Earlwood. When Mudtek names the next race or class, this hub should gain a row — not a guessed name.
Party note for 1–8 player drop-in co-op: one Vanguard holding stun plus one Human Magician applying Burning or Chill is a documented two-person core. Four copies of an unranked guess is not.
After Early Access patches, treat this page as a snapshot to replace, not a season-long bible. The letters will move. The rule will not: rank only what is documented.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Dimraeth players.
Is this Dimraeth tier list a live meta?
No. Steam Early Access is dated 15 September 2026. These letters are a beginner ranking of confirmed pairs from published kits and the closed demo, not a patch ladder.
Why are only a handful of archetypes ranked?
Only Minotaur, Human, Elf, and Fairy are confirmed races, and only Brawler, Magician, and Shadow are confirmed classes. Shadow and Elf stay unranked until Mudtek shows their kits.
What does S mean on this list?
S means the pair is fully documented and kind to new players. Minotaur Brawler (Vanguard) is the only S pick: axe frontline, stun-friendly Blunt conversion, and bonus stamina on Strength.
Should I reroll when more races ship in Early Access?
You can. This hub will need new rows then. For day one, lock a confirmed pair in the archetype planner instead of waiting on unnamed kits.
Where do I go after this hub?
Open starter builds for session plans, then character creation to lock the pair before you spend XP.
