Dimraeth Crafting Systems

Four stations, 48 base recipes, and why you go home after every expedition.

Crafting Systems

Crafting in Dimraeth turns gathered materials into food, gear, potions, and spellbooks at four stations. There are 48 base recipes (upgrade tiers omitted). The store copy is direct: explore, fight, gather, then return to Faustas’s stronghold to craft equipment, brew potions, and cook hearty meals. Mudtek’s design post on crafting covers recipe discovery, why food and potions matter, and how your workshop funds the next run.

Pair this page with Items and Spellbooks for how crafted books gate behind attributes, Stronghold Building for farms and quarries that feed the crafting loop, and Combat Systems for why cooked meals are a meter, not flavor.

Four crafting stations

Cooking

The Cooking station produces food that raises vitality. Cook before a boss fight; food is a meter in Dimraeth, not a cosmetic bonus. Ingredients come from farms, foraging, and hunting.

Recipe discovery and progression

The 48 base recipes above are documented from demo and playtest builds. Additional recipes exist at higher upgrade tiers that are not listed. Recipe discovery is part of the gameplay loop — finding a new formula in a hidden chest or from an NPC is how the workshop grows, not a wiki table.

Materials and where they come from

Common material sources documented from the wiki:

  • Beast Meat, Critter Meat — Hunting in the Wildwood
  • Droop Gelo, Droop Core — From Monstrous Droop and similar slime-type enemies
  • Treant Heart, Treant Wood, Corrupted Treant Bark/Heart — From the Corrupted Treant boss
  • Copper Ore, Stone — Mined from nodes in the Wildwood and caverns
  • Heart Oak, Wildwood Pine — Harvested from forest nodes
  • Brush Flax, Flax Rope — Foraged; Flax Rope is a craftable intermediate
  • Dryad Lock, Dryad Eye — From Dryad enemies in the Wildwood
  • Wolf Fang — From wolves in the Wildwood
  • Goblin Tooth, Large Goblin Tooth — From goblin enemies
  • Tenderberry, Thaumablossom — Foraged in the Wildwood
  • Glass Vial — Purchased or found; holds liquid crafts
  • Oil — Gathered from oil nodes

Why crafting matters for combat

Cooked meals raise vitality. This is not flavor text — food is a meter in Dimraeth. Entering a boss fight without cooking is entering with one resource already missing. Lesser Health, Stamina, and Concentration potions from the Alchemy Table cover the other three bars.

Throwflasks (Lesser Concentration Throwflask, Lesser Health Throwflask, Lesser Stamina Throwflask) let you throw consumables without closing the inventory. In chaotic co-op fights, this matters.

What this page will not do

No invented recipe names outside the 48 documented. No tier-two or tier-three upgrade variants. No claim that every recipe in the full game is listed. When Mudtek publishes new stations or higher-tier recipes, this page grows.

Read Stronghold Building for how farms and quarries feed the crafting loop. Read Items and Spellbooks for attribute gates on spellbook recipes. The Guides Hub is the map of everything else.
